Sydney and Aaron are a bride and groom who are naturals in front of the camera—and that’s not surprising, given that they met while performing together at Carowinds, an amusement park in Charlotte, North Carolina.
“We were in a show together called Kickin’ Country,” says Sydney. “I was a vocalist and Aaron was the guitarist.” (Honestly, does it get more meet-cute than that?)
For their summer wedding at Red Cedar Farm in Granite Falls, North Carolina, Sydney and Aaron chose a stunning and simple lavender color scheme, with the florals and table decor coordinated by Sydney’s mother. With music being an important part of the couple’s story, the groom worked for several months organizing the music (in fact, Sydney calls him a musical genius!). Photographing it all were Tasha Barbour of Tasha Barbour Photography, and second shooter Holly Campbell of Holly Campbell Photography.
An extra-special moment was the appearance of the horse-drawn carriage, a surprise from Sydney’s parents to the bride.
“I cried when I saw it, because it was a complete and total surprise,” says Sydney. “It was so magical and special, and I was incredibly grateful.”
Sydney and Aaron, we are so grateful to you for sharing your beautiful wedding day with us!
