Today’s couple has two big loves in their lives: each other, and rodeo. In fact, the sport is what first brought Abby and Logan together—they met as children through their participation in rodeo events, and later reconnected when Abby was leaving for college. Rodeo continues to play a big role in their lives, a passion that they incorporated throughout their engagement session and wedding, including a guest appearance by their horse, Junior, in their bride and groom portraits. (Their adorable dog, Millie, also made a few appearances).
Equally important to the couple was celebrating their strong connection to their friends and family, beginning with their choice of venue: a horse barn owned by Logan’s parents that they transformed into a wedding space. The wedding music provided another special opportunity to honor their families: Abby’s brothers played guitar as she walked down the aisle, and one of them sang a song for the couple’s first dance. Her father’s band also played during their wedding, proving to be a big hit.
Says Tasha Barbour of Tasha Barbour Photography, who photographed the event:
“This couple is so sweet, and you can see the love that they have for each other. They kept the cowboy spirit alive and stayed true to themselves. There was such a feeling of joy and excitement from both sides of the family, and you could see how truly excited everyone was to see these two get married. It was such a fun wedding to be part of.”
It’s so much fun for us to be part of it, too. Abby and Logan, thanks so much for giving us this peek into your special day!
